Dear Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to bring to your attention the first announcement of ”Quantum Fields and Dense Matter”, 2009, 4th International Workshop to be held in Rab, Croatia, from August 30 to September 04, 2009. Rudjer Boškovic Institute, Zagreb, Croatia, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary and Karl-Franzens-Universität, Graz will co-host this conference.

The program of the conference will include the following topics:

• Physics at LHC, CERN
• Pair production in strong fields in R/A formulation of out of equilibrium QCD
• Non-equilibrium theory of high energy matter
• Hamiltonian QCD
• QCD at high temperature and density
• Quark matter in astro-particle physics: extended (semi)classical (metastable) states in field theories
• New teoretical developments
